1 week until surgery

I'm scheduled for surgery next Thursday. Any suggestions on things to take to the hospital with me?

I have my list to do the prayer thread for u on the 4th...I hope u have someone that is able to give us updates?.....

This is a common question so we do have a thread and a page in the Health Pages here is the link-http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/Neurological%20Disorders/Tips-for-the-Hospital-Stay/show/1136?cid=186

The main thing take PJ's that button down the front and take 2 types...I had a pair on the warmer side and the hospital rooms were very warm,...and I had nothing else...so take something light and something in case u r cold.

Once u look over the list- post ne additional questions u may have : )

this is a popular question!! lol~  i'll see if i can find the thread...if not, selma will bump it up when she comes on, im sure.  you really don't need much of anything!  take something for your lips, as they do get dry.  some people like having hard candy to suck on, toothbrush & toothpaste, bathrobe, button up the front pjs and comfy slippers that you can walk safely in, a camera to document all the moments you will have absolutely no memory of!!!  lol  baby wipes for your face....a notebook for whoever will be staying with you to write down all the silly things you say and do....good for laughs later on!  lol  i can't really think of what else i really used right now, but will look for that list for you...
