Is there anyone in new zealand on this site.  If so I have started a page on facebook for you to come and join if you would like.  I am looking for people in new zealand as I am the only one that I know of.

There are also other sites for other places like america and australia.  All you need to do is join facebook and then search for New Zealand Chiari or if you are from else where just put where you are from then chiari. These are support groups as well and you can share your story.

Hi...run ur cursor over my name and where I am from will show up in a small box.....u can do that for most of us and if u click on a name u can go to our profile page and see pics and our journals ( as long as it is open to the public) which many do have our chiari story open for all .

I am in the USA on the east coast.Smack dab btwn Philly and NYC..... convenient to say the least : )

MedHelp and the people on here helped me feel less alone and more empowered to  find the right dr and treatment for me....I hope u find the same : )

Hello and Welcome

I feel your pain, I am from Canada and used to feel really alone as I have had a hard time connecting with anyone near to me. However, after finding this forum I realized that locale didn't matter so much after getting the support I do here:) I still do look around once in awhile b/c it would be great to start a walk or support group but I figure eventually I will connect with some Canadians on here. Definitely stick around, this place is one of the best you will find!

it has been great.  Where abouts are you from.
We are just trying to get awareness up and just trying to find those in new zealand as sort of feel i am alone but it has been great having people who have been there.

Hi...well that is why we r here...to learn more about chiari and support each other.....and we do have a great group of people right here.

We have had several chiarians that r from New Zealand...so u r not as alone as u may think.

I hope u decide that MedHelp is a great place for the support u r looking for and stick around
