Questions to ask a new neurologist

I am trying to put together a list of questions to ask the new neurologist I'm seeing next week. I'm a little worried because I just found out that I'm being paired with a resident, so I don't know how familiar a resident will be with Chiari.
What suggestions do you have for questions that I should ask?

hi stephie!

this question has been asked many times here and many great suggestions have been made!!  try looking thru some of the older threads....or send a pm to selma.  she usually knows right where to find it!
best of luck with your appt. and try to keep a positive attitude!  maybe because he's still a resident, he hasn't been corrupted yet!  lol!  probably wouldn't hurt for you to print off some into to take with you......just in case.  and i would leave it for him, even if he is familiar with cm!!

best of luck and let us know how it goes!!
