venting but need help too please

Chiari update: went to the neuro today and all he could say was if my pain is not gone by next march then he wants to cut my occipital nerve and see if it helps.. but that will just cause numbness. its horrible. but i gues i will deal with it and continue being careful even though he took off all restrictions even though i am only post op since February.. what do you guys think?

i really need someone to talk to about family and cancer that also has chiari i am dealing with all my own problems and taking care of my three kids and my father in myhome that is on hospice i am married and thryign to help with my aunt who is also on hospice. my father has cancer in his lungs kidneys and spinal cord. we have been fighting over 10 years and this time he decided no treatments or anything so watching him go down hilll in my home is killing me my mom is here helping but its jsut so hard to see it and stay stong. my husband does what he can but he has a heart condition that he had surery for an the surgery made hm worse and has bad bad chest problems. and then i did raditation adn chemo with my aunt who has a rare lung cncer and they cleared her of cancer and next thing you know its in her brain and she is going totally down hill in assited living now. my poor 9 year old has had three seizures the last being a gran mal and now she is diagnosed with severe epilepsy and on meds nad we always have to be careful with her on what she does. and i have twin 5 years olds and both have problems after i left there father almost 4 years ago becasue there father was very abusive to me and they were traumatized for a while and are getting better but my son has bad adhd and i arguing with the ex to let us give him meds for the mood swings nad attention span and my poor daughter i am so scared to take her to a different dr instead of our regular pediatrician i am worried there is something wrong with her she has not grown in almost two years at all. and he says its normal but i am really worried. sorry for babing im just so depressed and sad trying to deal with all my pain and this it makes it hard anymore to live life normal i am so far from normal and no one in my family will even care to educate on what is wrong with e they all act like there is nothing wrong with me and i am faking it all. so it makes it so much worse for me. sorry again for blabbing to you lol.

I went to the er last night for what was the worst chiari preassure headache that i have ever had and got 3 shots of dilaudin bendryl and a shot of noraflex. today i have a huge bloody nose that lasted almost an hour. my ns basically says dont worry you are cured you had decompression. i dont know what to do. i lost my medical insurance and cant afford anything i went to the er and they acted like i was stupid at least the nurses did. the dr was very thurogh but it was late nad there was no one there to read my ct scan so i have to get a copy of it and the report tomorrow. i am wondering if i have csf back up again. i been feeling really weird lately.. does anyone else have the low blood pressure problem adn now i have chest pain and told them that last night and they said it must be from my neck pain but its not feeling like that it feels much deeper like my heart even feels like its beating funny. idk anymore im so worried i feel like things are falling apart inside me but no one listens. sorry i just keep venting.. anyone that can help would be great. i am thinking of trying to make my own pillow too. if i get a design that works thinking of selling them for 8 bucks. will have to see if i can get the right design first... lso any one that takes celexa do u know the max dose i am on 40 mg's a day and i want to know if i can get a higher dose.. does anyone know

thanks everyone i have one sister and she tries to help but she has three kids of her own and dealing iwth a son that has diabetes. so much is going on and i am trying to calm down and stay stress free. i am thinknig its time to start racking up bills. screw it anymore. what can they tke from me um nothing cuz i have nothing.

  Hi, I am so sorry u r going thru all this all the while trying to recover...u still need to rest and take it easy all this stress will make u feel poorly.

U r only 5 months post op..right?...well it is normal to have some symptoms post op as u heal, but add all the stress u r under and it is no wonder.....

And next...for ur Dr to say ur cured...that is bunk!...there is no cure only treatment to help pain and to restore flow and help slow progression.

  U may want to get another opinion.

So sorry for all you are going through!  Having so many things going on at the same time you are dealing with health issues is just so stressing!  Hugs to you.  Hopefully you can find help to make sure your head is okay!  I was found to have a leak nearly a year after my decompression and it took a while for someone to believe me that I thought I had a problem.  Chiari seems to be a never ending process.  Surgery number two that fixed the leak only led to a third emergency surgery and now I am paranoid and trying to recover again.  Just having decompression surgery does not mean that everything is perfect and over.... each surgery is different and you just don't know what may be happening,  I had a bovine patch that did not work out for me.  Just don't take NO for an answer, you don't want bigger issues if there is still something wrong.  I hope things start looking up for you!

You have quiet a lot going on. You need to step back. Have you brothers or sisters that can help?
You can not in my opinion go on dealing with the family illness issues and your own illness and hope to remain sane, this will eventually bring you down and who is going to take on your role then?
