Really weird... Have any of u experienced this?

For the past 2 weeks I have been having a burning type pain in the middle of my middle to upwards back, almost between shoulder blades but a little lower.

WELL.... Today it's REALLY bad but I noticed it is a lot worse when standing up. I still feel it a lil while sitting but man... When I'm standing it hurts so bad it almost takes my breath away!! Along with the burning pains in back I also have horrid pain in my very upper belly/stomach?? But again... Stomach don't hurt unless I'm standing! It's really about unbearable!!

It don't feel like poop pains, gas pains, or muscle pains... I don't know quite how to describe it!
Anyone else with this or know what it could be from??? Help!!!! Lol as if these darn headaches and neck pains aren't enough?!?!

Glad to know I'm not imagining this burning.  As I am sitting here writing this, I have this burning in both my legs, but have had it in my back, neck and jaw area.  Told my doctor it felt like liquid fire running through me.  This just started with me in the last two weeks  along with intense muscle pain in neck and shoulders.  This last month many symptoms have been occuring that I have not had before.  Keep wondering whats next??????

I just joined today. I know your pain. I explain it like someone is trying to set me on fire. I have the burning pain in the middle of my back where my bra strap sets. I also have the lower back pain, it is really bad if I am standing at the sink doing dishes. The only thing that I can do to get relief is to lay down.

I know what u mean although mine don't feel like pressure or like something is in the way mine is a string burning feeling right in middle of stomach high like under breastbone/ diaghram but still my stomach. And it pierces through to my back.
I'm ok sitting but standing makes it worse!

It is really similar to when I had gallstones. Mine were packed and had gallbladder removed. So I don't know!

Like I said I've been having this pain in back but the stomach pain just started yesterday. Guess I'll call dr. Thanks guys

Oh yes I no this pain very well, it comes and goes but when I try to expain it my NL just shuns it off......

I explain it to feel like somebody has stuffed a tennis ball between my shoulder blades, it pains all day long but mostly when standing or sitting, lying down does help it.

I almost feel like I want to push it out of the way, If you can imagine what im saying, like selma I also experience lower back pain, this is like a stinging pain and gets worse the more I do, I find it very difficult to straighten up from a bending position as it feels like my back will snap.

You are not alone and hey my NL says my insignificant decent is not causing this....... so what the hell is............

Hugs

Hi...many  chiarians have complained of the same type of pain...mid back btwn the shoulder blades...not sure if it is just a chiari thing of if those with a syrinx get it as well.

I have had that pain, but also had whip lash.....

but I do know the pain and understand how u feel, I also get it in my lower back as well.

I always used to think if only I could stretch enuff it would feel better....

Sorry u r having to deal with this....hang in there...try a warm soak.
