varicose veins

I just wondered if or how this might fit in.
Both my mother & her sister had severe varicose veins.  I never did, but I took a lot ofvitamin E in my health nut days (also never had stretch marks).
But I was wondering how much pain, written off as fibro, might be vascular?  I would guess that people w/EDS might have varicose veins too.
Sometimes I feel like that's where pain is, because it'snot in my joints.  My veins are very close to the surface.
Anyone?
I know that you can have varicose veins anywhere, as I knew someone who had them in his testes & was infertile until it was corrected surgically.  Successfully.

I have horrible stretch marks...like Selma said EDS has so many variations but I was affected by the veins and the stretch marks.

  With some forms of EDS it is possible to get stretch marks while very thin.....it is just the nature of the skin with this condition...while others do not have it....there r so many types of EDS and not all of us will have the same....

I did not get the stretch marks easily, but so have some ....nothing major

Thanks.  Sorry for the v. veins; I know from my mother that it was very painful!  There's not effective treatment by now?
Not that I want another Dx, but it would explain a few things.

Did either of you get stretch marks easily?

Muscle pain feels different somehow--normal.

It is also possible to have EDS that is not vascular and have some "vascular" symptoms.  I have EDS...not vascular and had horrible varicose veins up and down both legs by the age of 20.  Just a few years ago I had my veins pulled out and the Dr said that I was 1 of the 3 worst cases he had ever seen and the other 2 were elderly.  My skin hurts all the time...even getting a pedicure when they rub your legs hurts.

  Hi...yes, the vascular type of EDS is one that will have varicose veins....not all that have EDS will have this, so it is possible that u have EDS, but not that type.....

A lot of pain is written off as Fibro, but not all of it may be vascular pain, some pain may be in the muscles as they tend to over work trying to help hold us together....
