I feel your flustrartion. Before my surgieries I went to ER 3 times due to my pain was so bad I was vomiting and my family didn't give me any choice. As Selma said's only you know. Trying to relax is very helpful, but having your brain hurt's it kind of consumes us. What I have tried and it has helped is get a heating pad, on medium roll it around your head and put a pillow on top. It takes the pressure off and help's put the head all around the head so it help's your brain relax. I hope you find relief. I'm going to look up the ball that thrice3 has suggested. Try anything that will help for you. I hope for some relief for you.
if you think it will help then you should try the ball i posted about the other day. here is the link to the thread. it can relieve a LOT of pressure in your head.

Also, when i have a headache, if i think about it too much then i get upset and then it gets even worse. i agree with selma, warm soak in the tub with the lights out and maybe a few candles and music can be relaxing.
a neck massage, a scalp massage, anything to relax
Hi...u have to make that decision...if u can tough it out, then do so, if u feel u can not, or that it is affecting ur overall health then by all means go to the ER.
Sometimes u just need to find a way to relax.....a warm soak in the tub....listening to ur fav music in a darkened room....what ever helps u relax.
