Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
Finding a NS that believes in chiari 0 and a NL can be a chore depending on if u r looking to keep it close to home or if u can travel.....if u can travel, u should be able to find a Dr.
But, even a Dr that believes in chiari 0 which means- ur skull is malformed and u have a CSF obstruction with minimal herniation...and the symptoms are affecting ur everyday life and overall health.
Not all with chiari are surgical candidates, so it is ur symptoms and how this is affecting u that the Dr will also look at closely.
The problem with radiologist and general NS's is they got all their info on chiari from Med school, a true chiari specialist is doing their own research and changing the definition of how to dx and treat chiari.
Do see our list of Drs to research...the list is not a referral and not all drs on the list may be a true chiari specialist, they r the names of the members Drs...and it is meant to help u get started on ur research.
