Dandruff - check. Wafty hair tightness check itchy scalp check, none of that, any one else had the same??  It's like a tingly sensation, kinda feels like goosebumps that you get on your arms when your cold, started 3 days ago, I'm not cold, or anxious. ..,,  maybe nothing.

that's one of the joys of chiari, my friends!  lol!  it's like the tingling/numbness you get elsewhere, on your scalp...only slightly different.  after i had my surgery, all that went away.  completely.  until i got rear ended.  now it's back and with a vengence.  however, according to my mri, my surgery and chiari are still intact.  which makes me wonder if now it is related to my issues with my cspine.  which, in turn, makes me question.....was it ever the chiari that caused it or was it the cspine all along. perhaps the surgery relieved the pressure on the brain stem and that in turn relieved the pressure on the nerves that caused the sensation, thus making the chiari the culprit.   or perhaps it was the cspine causing the problem and was being asserbated by the compression caused by the herniation of the chiari and the surgery only temporarily relieved the symptoms. and when i got rear ended, it caused slightly further damage to my spine and that caused the symptoms to return.
sooo....lol....which came first, the chiari or the spine?  lol?
this is all going on the assumption that you, like most of us, also have some issue or another with your spine.  otherwise, just use this post for a giggle.

Yup, I get that now and again. One time, I thought for sure, that I had ants all over my head or something. I've had those same tingly sensations go throughout my entire body at times. It's one of the symptoms that had us and my pcp thinking it might be MS.

Ah yes... that just started on me! It was happening several times in a row.. like a gradual goosebump feeling that would move up he back of my head - and I'm not cold, not anxious, nothing.... it just happens out of the blue. It keeps happening, more annoying than anything else and I have no idea whats up...

I have a 2 mm herniation, some CSF blockage, but no Chiari dx... so I dunno - weird feeling though!
