Hi all....found some info on Kim...she is home and doing better...she had an issue with meds that were corrected.

I am sure she will post here when she can.In the meantime we all wish her a speedy recovery!!

.....I was going to PM u I saw what u were going thru...I wish there was something I could do to help.

It is strange how all ur meds are making u sick....I can stand to lose some weight, but not like that....goodness.

I am sure the Zipperheads will pop on and can advise better than us non zippers....

I pray this ends soon for u and u r on the road to recovery.

Sorry I have been neglecting you all, I have had a lot of horrible days.

Tuesday I went to the ER, it had been 13 days since I had a BM.  I had an Eineima and then had to drink this strong laxative so I could get it all out.  Now daily I am taking a laxative and stool softner.

Yesterday was just horrible, I tried to switch to Tylenol for pain releif but it just asn't enough..the good news was on that I could eat which was great.  Later that night I went back to my norco, an hour later I vomitted, then this morning, then on the ride to my doctors visit.  Where they prescribed me a new better nauseas med, 30 minutes after taking that, I threw up.

I have lost 10 lbs in two weeks!!!

I have no appetite and not taking the meds hurt....I have decide, lose more weight, vomit, or be in pain...arrrrgggghhhh.

Any suggestions.

Hi all!  Thanks so much Selma for updating everyone here.

I am feeling okay, the pain has been managed by the medicine.  The worst thing right now is the nausea...any idea how long it will take to go away??  I can basically eat about half of a bowl of cereal in the morning with out feeling sick and then try to force food down through out the rest of the day.  I haven't vomitted since being home but have come close.

My husband keeps trying to get me to eat and I really just can't.  The only reason I eat in the evenings is so I can take my antibiodic which needs to be taken with food.  Even the nausea medicine they prescribed doesn't seem to help.

I am also taking pepcid, valium, and percocet for one more day.  Then the doctor wil switch it to norco (sp).  I am allergic to one of the meds and have a rash, but not severe enough to stop taking any of them.

I also got a UTI from the catheter while in recovery which is why I am on antibiodics.

Any advice on the nausea would be apreciated.  Thanks all!
