Is this NS a Chiari specialist? There is a difference between a NS who occasionally sees chiari and one who focuses his practice on this disease. From what I have read the risk of complications incluidng more surgery is alot less with someone who specializes. My doc has done over 800 successful Chiari surgeries and that is a question you should be sure to ask. How many has he done?
