WHAT COULD IT BE????

HELLO TO ALL,

After the x-ray & EMG it shows that I indeed have a pinched nerve in the hip, that was not a real fun time.  I also have to have another MRI of the lower back.  He told me that he is not sure exactly what it is they think - But the MRI is scheduled for Friday early 0530 in the morning.  It is the earliest that they can get me in for one.  He ordered it with dye or contrast.  

What are some of the stories or life events that some of you would like to share - all good and all bad are more than welcome.  I am a person that likes to plan for the worst and hope for the best...  I am not a negative person by any means.  I feel that I am very positive and am seeking other's life experience's.

That is really weird..my eyes r very blurry today too!! Lately I thoguth it was my reading glasses all smucked up, but I did not have them on and I was having a time of it.

Same here Beautiful...glad today was the day I had to go to the labs for bloodwork as opposed to earlier in the week it was too cold!!

Weather does play  a part in how we feel.

It seems to me today, that the left eye is very blurry for some reason; I underdstand that it will happen from time to time - and it has before just not this long at a time.

The pains in my back are not all that great either today, it is a beautiful day here in Bellevue for a change - I would put it in the 60's for the most part.  A great day!!!!

I believe all things happen for a reason, why I have been given this card I do not know?

But, I can work through it some how some way.  Winners never quit &  quitters never win!!!

All of us on this board are winners as we work through the challenges of our situation.  

I am very nervous about the outcome of tomorrow. and what will happen next.  I do know that the area that is being MRI's is very very sore and hurts all the time...

Oh my....u have had quite a bit going on .....wow.

did u have scoliosis...since u had rods put in? I do not know much about it except there r different degress of the curviture.


I am beinging to believe I got a lemon......lol....

It is from the surgery about two years ago.  It was two years on the 12th of Feb.

I have two rods , two cages and 6 screws in my back; I was opened from the front as well as the back...

Sorry, Roy I can not rememebr is the fusion a congenital one or from surgery?

He just told me that there is a mass or something in the area of the fusion S1 -L 4- L5
area.  He said maybe it is just the way the nerves grew back.  I told him that I had a lower mri of the baack about 4 months ago.  

He said I am aware of this and it was reviewed by our team of doctors.  So it is really needed as soon as possible.  So the root canal was yesterday and the mri is scheduled for Friday morning one of the first ones of the day.

On other news I recieved the call from Dr. Oro - he said that the docs are doing everything correct up to this point.  No sign of blockage or sign of the spinal fluid; no sign of a syrinx starting...  

Just hang in there for the time being.  So I guess that is life in the fast lane.

Hi.....I am not sure what else ur drs may be looking for...have they ruled out tethered cord?

And what did they say they could do for ur pinched nerve?

I am curious too.
