What does the mm part mean?!

I'm curious the mm on my MRI report along with a lot of other medical lingo is kind of confusing... Mine is 11 mm . Does this represent herniation? Also I went to a neurologist who wasted my time and money and told me I would be fine I kept stressing to him I'm symptomatic he probably stayed in the room with me for 5 mins and told me I want to see you next month. What the hell?... What should I do?

Oh wow really? The neurologist Dr. Motgi to be exact told me oh You'll be fine... He also gave me zoloft that I cannot take with tramadol which I use for pain. It can cause serotonin overdose!

Hi...11 mm's is the length of the herniation....there are 2 tonsils and generally they only list  the longer of the 2.

Not knowing where you are located I am not sure where to steer you, but you will want a true Chiari specialist to help you as most Drs do not believe Chiari causes symptoms and consider it an incidental finding.....

Find a Dr that not only is familiar with Chiari but is well experienced it  as well  as with ALL related conditions too.
