thanks for posting these....hope the questions are okay., I think it will be a work in progress.

If anyone has feedback on these, I would be happy to hear it. Keep in mind that the questions are supposed to be very general because I don't think drs would be able to answer more specific questions as it would be case by case. Thanks to all who are taking these to their drs.

Starting questions, general and brief

What led you into the specialty of chiari?
Are you involved any other orgranizations/trainings etc... that are chiari related?
What percentage of your practice is this type of surgery (decompression)?
What percentage of your practice is related surgery, such as tethered cord or syrinx?
How many do you perform each year?
How many (number/percentage) surgeries are repeat surgeries?
What is the success rate?
Is this surgery a cure or permanent fix for the chiari?
What type of follow up do you recommend after surgery?

I see Dr. B next week for my first appointment (as I pm'd to you earlier). I wouldn't have a problem taking a look at the list to see if I feel comfortable with the questions on the first visit.  Send them on over!
