Hi...well I pray Dr B is able to offer u and ur DD some help.I know CSF pressure is expected to be elevated with PTC, but I have heard a few that had low pressure as well......I am not that well informed on this, and I look forward to updates from u .
I am not sure if another member has had this....please be patient for a reply....the forum slows down a bit during the holidays.
Best wishes

The DR that has been considering a re-do (DR Bejjani) ordered a LP, haven't heard official results, but the opening pressure was only 18 & closing 12 so I am doubting a Pseudotumor cerebri... but was curious if others have had this symptom. Her headaches are worse on the days she has a squishy spot.
Hi...some will develop PTC or excess fluid ... hydrocephalus after a decompression surgery.
A LP is done to see what the pressure is.....and this wil cause many symptoms similar to chiari symptoms.
We do have a Health Page on Pusedotumor Cerebri....intercranial hypertension.
Some will need a shunt to help drain the excess fluid away.....it is not known y the body creates too much fluid or y the body can not absorb it.
I am not saying ur DD has this, just it is a possibility. There r several members that have had this happen sooner after surgery and may be able to share their experience with u.
Good luck
