after surgery hicups?

,y husband gets the hicups at least 6 times a day.. is it just an irritated vagus nerve? anyone else have this?

I have GERD too and it *****!  Good luck to your husband.  I posted a list of symptoms, and hiccups were on the list for Chiari symptoms.

Well...since he had heartburn after surgery....he should see a GI dr.....
.it could be a hiatal hernia that was triggered by the drugs and meds...have him get checked and on meds or diet for the gerd.

no eds...he had bad heartburn after surgery but that seems to have gone away. they only come on for a couple min..but tons of times throughout the day

Hi....I also get the hicups often but I have a hiatal hernia.....if u also have EDS, u may also have one....thos with EDS r prone to them.

Many chiarians do have an irritated vagus nerve....and it can do all kinds of weird things....

Does ur DH also have acid reflux?

i get them every time i eat and its been two months sice surgery and everyone laughs because they last for like 15 min it really weird
