Hi Krhis. As everyone has stated-- everyone heals differently so it all varies on your body and maybe even you symptoms pre-op. I had my surgery about a week after you and feel back to "normal", but my normal is probably different than your normal. Hope you are at least feeling better than you did prior to surgery. Keep with those neck exercises.. I've been slacking off and my neck is feeling a bit stiffer again.

Welcome to this forum.  This Chairian family will give you a lot of answer's and support.  It all depends on your body and your healing.  I'm heading into 2 yrs post op and I'm still dealing with the healing process so healing is so different for everyone.  Wish you the best in this journey, but know your not alone.  There is a lot of us here that know what you are going through.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

There is no way to know...what all was done....did u have a laminectomy with a duraplasty?

Do u have related conditions? ....sleep apnea, tethered cord, ehlers-danlos, PTC?

How has ur recovery been so far?...r u walking. ....doing neck exercises?

  Off pain meds?

The actual time to for the nerves to heal is upwards of 2 yrs, and how u heal will depend on u and what u r doing as u heal...u should avoid doing certain activities to allow ur body to recover...this is a major surgery.
