any help for PA? no insurance? stuck to suffer?

ive met a couple people from my allentown, pa area and both agree there arent any  specialists around here so both have gone to the chiari institute in new york. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY DOCTORS WHO  ARE AT LEAST FAMILIAR WITH CM OR WHER EI CAN GO OTHER THAN NEWYORK, i dont have insurance, im selfemployed, single mom of 2 i dont know what to do. ive applied for assistance for the first time in my life only cuz i have chiari. if im approved then its only for state of PA...any one in PA i wonder that i could see? otherwise must i move to like newyork, apply there to see a real doctor. this stress is making all matters worse. i dont know what to do. except keep crying and hurting. ;*(

The doctor I see is Dr. Leslie Sutton at CHOP..He is actually my son's neurosurgeon for his craniosynostosis but I see him for my Chiari..

Hello and welcome to the CM forum. I am sorry that you are going thru this. Keep your god and faith in your heart and he will take care of you and your family. I am not from your area but I found on www.************.com there is a list of CM docs by name. I see a I (NS) there by the name of Zager in the university of Penn. Hospital. Maybe u can start here and find out. I truly wish you the best of luck and remember you will need a NS that specializes in Chiari. God Bless.
