Hi, have been diagnosed with Chiari Malformation for nearly 2 years now and my problems appear to be getting worse, i am seeing my GP for a lump in my throat/chest, have to get a camera down to tummy to see whats happening, also now am getting a very funny sensation on my chest and down both arms so have been referred to a heart specialist? does anyone else have this feeling in chest and arms, hope someone can help, feex

I also get funny sensations in my Chest area and was sent to see a cardiologist but he could not find any problems, that was before I got a Chiari DX. Now I know it was due to CM.

Hi...yes, I had heart palps and swallowing issues...I had my heart checked and that was fine....but, I do have a thyroid issue along with GERD both can cause the issues u mention.

Many chiarians do have these symptoms....

DDD is one other issue...and a bulging disk can also be to blame...

Sorry I do not remember if u have a chiari dr yet or not?
