"DOCTORS HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT IT IS THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE! and that being "the practice" things change and we are all different! "
SO TRUE!!!
Well remember this is not just a place to gather some info, but a support group too !!
And u r able to vent and just talk about what ever....so I hope we see more of u ...and I am glad u r optimistic : )

I wish I could say I was back to work! I miss running calls so bad! I should be the one helping people in need, not the other way around! Time is dragging by!
But I am looking into my second career....I think I am going to go back and get my Bachelor Degree in Biology. I love the outdoors and critters so much I can't think of having an inside job!
I am sorry I have not been on much, guess I just hit a plateau...you can only research this stuff so much before you have to give it a rest....I was getting so down and fustrated that my family was suffering because of all the self stress I was putting myself thru.
BUT...now I am back...still optimistic! :-) not yet ready for surgery because of the EDS and potential need for a second one because of it.
anyways......post more tomorrow evening.
Hi I like this ...well put!!

I pray u find ur answers soon.....this must feel like it is really dragging out a long time....but hang in there I know u will get answers .
Miss u around here : )

I'm with you 100% and it does bite to have to travel to see a dr but we do what we have to do to get the care that we need and DESERVE! i'm in MS and have been everywhere locally (that means memphis, jackson, birmingham) with no results so now i'm going to wisconsin in two weeks to see dr. Heffez and hopefully he will be able to help me! Just hang in there and keep searching for YOUR dr! (((HUGS))) Shannon
Cheers to that!! Been through the same ordeal, finally did find a NS to help me! Progressed much further than I should have though b/c of being constantly dismissed.
I like the point about it being "the practice of medicine"..so true..doctors need to stop making everyone's symptoms fit into a nice tidy box!!
Here's to you finding the right doc!!
Are sure it's not all in your head!! LOL!!
I'm sorry I had to say that! I'm a smart a**!! I know exactly what you are saying, it took me about 10+ yrs and still dealing with it after surgery!!
Take Care!!
