feeling horrible

Yesterday i went to have lunch with my friends.we were sitting in the garden and talking a lot.then i got ha on the left and my left ear gets extremly hot plus i got tachycardia.i decided to go home and it got even worse.i fell asleep and my bf was watching me.i woke up screaming and thought i get a heart attacke.my bf wanted to call the ambulance.but i didnt.it took me hours to fall asleep again.my neck hurt so much and my headache and neck pain is spreading into my shoulder and my arm.today i woke up crying from pain....its only a bit better now.but whenever i move my neck or just put a tiny pressure on my neck like opening my mouth for talking it screws me up.i dont think this is normal.my first vertebras make these horrible sounds and pop out of place.i am convinced that this zone is responsible for all my symptoms.what shell i do?call my ns on monday?i feel really bad.answers are apreciated.

Hope your feeling better now, or that you called you NS.  Thinking of you and praying for brighter more pain free days.

ER can be good to get images that the NS might have to fight the insurance company for!  I actually had abdominal pain for two months after shunt placement but could not get a CT scan... who knows why, I had a shunt put in there and had pain!  They finally told me that if I went to the ER when it was sharp pain I would probably get my CT scan... pain in the butt, but if it worked then I guess that is good.  Seems crazy because the ER just costs even more money.  I ended up with issues and they pushed mine through but my plan was the ER if things did not work out!  Good luck and hope your pain goes away soon!  -zygy

I do not think you are silly. I felt this many times.  Please pray to God to keep you safe while you sleep.  It's a prayer I prayed every single night before my diagnosis and I still continue that.  He's your best answer. :-)

Well there is stress of not wanting to be laying in the bed and wanting to be doing other things...u may not be relaxed even tho u r laying down.

U should be seen to clarify what is going on.

I had some muscle spasms around the time of my DD's wedding and that is also when I had my legs and feet swell to odd proportions....at that time I took the valium I still had and it helped....I did not go to the Dr as I felt it was all the activity I was involved with preparing for the wedding etc....

It did calm down, but when my parent had the explosion this Feb was a yr, anyway I was going up there to help them I sat and watched the contractors and kept track of what was going on...my feel swelled up again and I had the spasms...I was not doing nething, and I must admit it was stressful to see my parents home  and neighborhood like that...

It is funny, we may not think we r stressed, but it does come out is odd ways thru our body.....

My pain is extending more and more.i actually plan to go to er on monday where the specialist works so maybe one of his neuroteam member is able to give me an opinion...i am fed up of seeing doctors that tell me chiari isnt a big deal or its the heat outside and stress(what stress of laying in bed).

If its different from your normal pain and youre that concerened in my opinion you should either contact your NL/NS who is on call or go to the ED. I sure hope you start to feel better soon. :)

Agreed...ER may not really help u except with some pain meds, u will have to contact ur NS.

Something is not right....and u need to be seen.

If your pain is that severe and your vertebrae are popping like that, I'd say a trip to the ER is warranted.  Better safe than sorry.
