I am going through tramadol withdrawal, & pain can definitely make BP go up. Mine is the highest it's ever been. Hydrocodone is barely touching the withdrawal pain.
Can you borrow or rent a BP cuff? It might even swing to very low with dysautonomia.
There is a Chiari specialist in Pittsburgh.... a Dr Benjjani.....have u tried him?
I had a lot of those same issues and symptoms...I know it is frustrating....
Have u had the CINE MRI yet?
I don't take my bp at home. But my pcp said it was slowly increased the last couple of visits, Could be frustration setting in because of the run around I keep getting. My pcp is the only one who sees something is wrong and needs fixed. I go see a N/S on Mon Feb 4 about my neck if I don't get any answers my pcp said he will see about getting a referral to a specialist in Pittsburgh at UPMC.I am getting so tired of the numbness ,dizziness and fatigue and lately my face is getting tingly and starting to choke on just air lately.
My doc told me that high ICP that can contribute to increase in BP, which seems to be the case for me. In the months before my decompressions, when my symptoms were at their worst, my blood pressure always ran high. I'm slight and vegan, and normally have good/low-normal blood pressure. After decompression, my BP always returns to normal.
Do you take your BP at home when you're calm? You've had so much going on that Dr's visits are probably really stressful, which can make BP go up, I believe. Pain can also make our blood pressure read high.
Hi...it may be something related...I know a lot of us have low BP....but it is possible that a related condition or family history could be at play with u.....
Have they looked at POTS or EDS vascular?
