Feel like crap today. Sore muscles, pressure in head. Trouble swallowing. Ugh I just want to feel better. Am I suppose to have days like this? Dr oro said it will be pressure sometimes for up to 3 weeks, but I don't like this restoring of flow.

Take it easy!!! Recovery is both hard and boring but you want to avoid any more issues and complications!  My husband told me if I do this for a 4th time (will be finding out the 20th) that he is not even letting me pick up my own cup of tea :) LOL  After three surgeries and leaks he just wants me to do NOTHING.... I agree it is horrible but you have to take care of yourself and let your body heal!!!  Sitting really does stink!!  Hugs to you!!! -zygy

It gets better!
It wasn't easy to recover, but I watched a lot of comedy--still am; I watched "the 3 stooges" film yesterday.  I indulged in comfort food, didn't get dressed, just watched birds at the feeder, tried not to stress about Anything (but I have a sick cat that I still don't know what's wrong).  I also watched horror movies from my childhood, lol.  That's become my Saturday routine.
Find ways to make yourself as happy as possible.  Take care & keep us posted.

I had my surgery in November. I agree with Selma, feeling like crap is normal just 2 weeks out.  Are you on steroids?  I felt like crap until I was off of them.  Everytime they tapered me down to a lower dose, the pressure in my head would go up and I would feel nauseous.  Then I'd feel better after a few days, only to be tapered down and start all over again!   Just remember, you job right now is to heal....so do nothing else other than sit your behind down in a comfy position, do your neck exercises and relax.  The swallowing part is scary.  For me, it was worse with fluids.  I would choke on them all the time.  Try tipping your head forward a bit when you drink (using a straw of course) or after you've chewed food, in order to get it down.  That helped me a ton.  And don't worry, that will get easier.  Everything in that area is inflamed so it will take time to settle down.
