low dose naltrexone

Has anyone heard of this treatment?  It's used for opiate withdrawal and/or to prevent tolerance, but in lose doses, off label, it's being used to treat MS, CFS, FMS, and several other autoimmune conditions.  (there are also claims that it it helps HIV+ patients, Chron's, & autism).

Because many of us also have chronic pain and carry the Dx of fibromyalgia, its use might be of interest to us.

I also will pray that someone finfs a med.

  Very interesting I have a older sister and my mom they both have fibro...I really think it is EDS pain,....but eh splitting hairs at this point pain is pain.

I am hopeful this may help all 3 of us : )

They use buphenephrine for same things. I'm suppose to try it eventually.

   A med im prescribed would be a conflict, but I for relief and will quit any med in hope for less pain.

I have heard from a friend involved in a CFS/FMS support group that many people have been helped with this treatment.
