nuchal ligament as graft- decompression surgery

My NS said that he uses the nuchal ligament as a graft. Anyone else had this done? And what has your experience been? Any pain?

  Hi...no, mine graft that was harvested for my patch was from my scalp.

I have heard others had theirs from their leg, none from the area of the neck u r referring to.

   Since it is a muscle I would imagine there is pain associated with it...as the one from the leg was painful for those that had that done....

  I do not think there was much more pain of my head/scalp post op having that  used.....
