7wks post op!!

As of yesterday I am 7wks post op!! I am doing pretty well! Still have some neck pain and stiffness but that is to be expected. I am off all prescription meds. Am I glad I finally had surgery? I'm still undecided, when I get my MRI in December I will know!
IF my syrinx is any smaller, then yes I will be glad!
The surgery and the pain were not as bad as I expected, as that was a huge concern for me!  The first 10 days were my roughest.
Just a quick update!! :)
Hugs
Mazie :)

Welcome back !!! Thanks for the update...I was wondering how u were doing......and I pray ur syrinx is shrinking.....

U will continue to have doubts at this point post op as the nerves do get over stimulated as they get back to work....but it is all a good sign that there is no nerve damage....so give urself time and go slow....

((hugs))

Congrats, I am glad you are doing well.  I was like you the first few days.  Mine ws real fun cause I had a fusion also so limited motion and forgetting.  I also had a big syrnix from C2-C7 it did go down on my six months MRI.  I hope you continue to improve.  Remember it may take some time for any nerves to heal, ok.
