so sorry dana fore ur issues...but i would recommend u go back and see dr.oro...I took my time off chiari now hanging out with my family and that helped a lot. and now i start to focus again for the next surgery...I hope u get answers and help this year...its been a rough last year for u, i know...hugs and prayers my dear
I am so sorry that you are still so miserable. Selma is right about the instability the fusion did me wonders but I know you don't want to hear about another surgery right now. I feel good that your in dr oros hands if there is more he will find it. Having the occipital neuralgia doesn't help either. Hang in there friend.
Hi...if u have EDS and instability that can be the cause....and it will do u good to see ur NS as I am sure there is something that can be done...fusion is one such option.....
Mayb in the meantime u can get a next brace to help hold ur head from bobbling around....and see how that may help.
((hugs))
So sorry to hear your still having problems. I know how this feels. I think after surgery and we begin to heal we start noticing things that were probably there in the first place, but can really feel them now. I deal with something each day which makes my family have to deal with issues. I get so flustrated. In the long run I know I'm better, but it's just hard to adjust. Wishing you good results in Feb. Hoping you have a wonderful New year. It will be a quiet on here :)
Linda :)
Well my headaches since surgery were less until a few weeks ago...they are getting just as bad as they were before. Still have pressure in head. I have plate and the back of my head aches almost nonstop...like where the screws may be? I also have a spot near my vertebraes that hurts nonstop...my autonomic dysfunction is out of control....I was dx with eds reccently and my neck isn't very stable....takes everything I got to hold my head up and my neck and shoulders are constantly swollen....I know there's more lol. But can't think clearly....
