tachychardia problems anyone?

Does anyone with chiari have episodes of increased heart rate?  My heart rate increased to 167 while sitting hooked up to EEG.

I went off the Zonegran because my hair was falling out and my tachycardia spells stopped.  At least I hope so.  I also think my meds were causing a lot of my anxiety.  I don't have this anxiety attacks since stopping seizure medication.  I take butterbur for my headaches and this is suppose to increase the oxygenated blood to the brain.  I feel so much better these days.

  Hi, yes..this is not uncommon for those with chiari...it can be just the chiari...or u may have related issues..such as a thyroid condition, or a condition called POTS......

  Do talk to ur Chiari Dr about this.
