Desperate for help!
my 4 year old with autism was on risperdal, he had some levels run high so his dr decided to switch him to Tenex...he took his last risperdal 1mg tablet 3 times/day on friday night 11-12-10...he started the tenex 1/2 of a 1mg tablet twice/day saturday morning. since sunday he has been very irritable and aggressive, with very frequent outburst of screaming constantly, hitting himself in the head and bitting, pinching, hitting, kicking, pushing, and scratching himself and others...the tenex kicks in some we can tell but he truly acts like he can not control it and seems like withdrawl from the risperdal which his dr did not tell us to taper off of it at all...we are worried please help!
