Diabetic daughter with unexplained stomach issues

Our 4 y/o, type 1 Diabetic daughter has been complaining for two days solid about stomach pain. She sobs uncontrollably about the pain.  She indicates it is in the middle of her abdomin. We took her to the ER last night and they found nothing wrong.  We are not sure if this is something serious or something that may be anxiety related.  Her mother and I are at wits end and just want to help our little girl.  Any thoughts?

RockRose is correct, this is a symptom of her blood sugar being too high.

cb,  stomach pain is a symptom of type I diabetes.  Google "diabetes in children stomach pain" and you'll find lots of medical references.  I didn't read far enough to see how it's treated,  but it seems like you should go in the direction that diabetes and her stomach pain are related.

Best wishes.
