my son is very aggressive and stubborn

My son is 5 and 1/2 years old.Sometimes he behave in a very strange manner.He become so agressive,stubborn and cry a lot that he didn't listen to anyone .He repeat the same thing again and again like I have to go to school otherwise teacher will give me more Home work etc.Sometimes he cry because of small reasons and went to balcony and tell that I will jump from here,I want to die .He is also very shy in nature.He loves watchng cartoon.He is in class 1st and good in studies except his handwritting.Some times he ran out of the door and said Iam going from the home I will not come back.He is also very fussy in eating .What to do Kindly help me and suggest me the proper way to treat him.I need your help b'caz iam afraid that he will not take a wrong step and he will understand that Iam doing wrong things I have to change myself.Kindly hel me

Smita, I am not a mom but I have been teaching 6 year olds for 8 years.  I would take this seriously and talk to a child psychologist or therapist.  If he is threatening to harm himself there is definitely an issue that needs to be dealt with.   He may need therapy or may have a chemical imbalance that medication could treat.  I wish the best of luck and give you credit for posting your question!

Could he be upset by anything has he any siblings, What happens prior to him becoming aggressive , and stubborn, what reason would you think he would act out that way. Children often repeat things thats okay , he says he has to go to school or he will get more home work, how does he get on at school and how much homework does he get at 5 year old. Fussy eating is okay , let him choose his food when you are at the stores , they like to do that .
