My Seven year old says that someone tells her to do stuff, it makes her make promises that she cannot keep like taking a crayon to write on the wall and she must promise she will not do it again, cursing her baby brother that his eye must fall out, or telling her that your dad promised you that you can take a day of from school, when dad never said anything like that, she seems so afraid and whispers to me what the voice tells her, since December 2010 she has been hooked on Disney channel and can repeat each word of the episodes as they are repeated continously
We took her to a priest, he said cut the TV , give her attention, but its still not gone
Hi,
I have a 7 year old boy that says he feels different from other children. When I asked him why, one of the reasons is that he sees colors. I asked him "how" do you see colors. And he says sometimes they just show on the wall or something. The way he described it made me think of like when a light flashes, you see the spot for a few seconds - but he see colors. Any ideas??
I'm with RockRose on this one. At the very least this must be really distressing for her and if she can get help, I say the sooner the better.
jchild, I think children very often perceive thoughts as "voices". So, they hear thoughts to do mean stuff that they know is wrong, and they perceive that somehow as a voice telling them to do that.
Your daughter is experiencing something different and far more disturbing. The voices in her head are actually causing her not to hear what is going on around her - they are drowning out her reality, and she "can't take it anymore".
This is nothing to ignore - it's very scary. When evil voices make her unable to actually HEAR what is going on around her, it's time to see a psychiatrist. And get a very good one, recommended by people you trust.
Could she have picked up this behavior from anyone is there anyone else around would have similar experiences, if it continues maybe ask your Doctror what he thinks it could be, does hse watch TV programmes or DVds with scary stuff ?
I would definately at the very least take her back to the chiropractor. I am a huge believer in essential oils. My first thought was to get her some Clarity and Brain Power oils. Also, I think she would benefit greatly from a Raindrop Therapy. Contact your local massage therapist, many are offering this therapy now. If she benefited from the chiro, she would probably respond to Valor oil. We nickname this oil "chiropractor in a bottle". It helps keep your spine in line and promotes confidence. If you want more information, contact me thru my profile. You and your daughter will be in my thoughts and prayers!
