My daughter will be 3 in two months. She has been in foster care for 5 months now. They potty trained her. And now they say she is acting up after talking on phone to us. She is peeing on floor at daycare and laughing about it. Why

I know that this, may well NOT be, the answer that you are expecting. However, I must ask- why are you worried about a VERY young child wetting herself? I can tell you that, all three of our children, were still in nappies until, at least three. They ALL wet the bed until six. They are all now well adjusted women, with children of their own- all but one still wet themselves. Only the eight-year-old is dry. Give your child TIME!

Hi.  So, your daughter was removed from your home 5 months ago?  She may never have really been potty trained. Sometimes we think a 2 year old is when they really aren't.  That happens all the time. They kind of act potty trained when they still have accidents.  I don't know if why she laughs and why she does it on the floor. She may be having psychological issues from being removed from your care.  She might be being abused by her foster caregivers.  Issues around urination are not uncommon for either of those.  She should also be evaluated by a pediatrician to make sure everything is alright.  This sounds like she has had a lot of chaos and upheaval in her life and that shows itself in little ones in ways like this as does stress.  good luck

Thank you. Supposedly she has been trained in foster care
She's likely suffering emotionally.  I'm sorry.  I hope it gets better for her.
