My five year old son is feeling insecure

My son is 5 year old my husband works in other city so he visit after two three months. My son is very good child but when we are with other relative he shout and repeat his words continuously until he is acknowledged. He cries for no reason and some time he says I will dead mama I know I will. He never leave me even can’t go washroom without telling him otherwise he get upset. Last night he was saying during sleep no body likes me... I am tensed and don’t know how I handle him.

Is he at home all day? or does he go to any kind of a preschool?  When he visits relatives, is he the only kid there?

Not knowing the answers to above, I would guess that he is having troubles saying how he feels.   There actually are some very good books aimed at his age group which are meant to be read aloud to them (many times) and practiced.  Plus, its a great bonding time at bed time.  Check out this book and other like it listed on the link.  And get back to me on my questions.   The book is "When I feel sad" and can be found here....
