I really hope I'm not speaking out of turn, or saying things that ought not be said.
The thing is, the greatest determiner of criminality in the son, is criminality of the father.
This statistic transcends boys who are adopted out at birth and never know their biodad, transcends socio economic level, and transcends intervention and placing the boy in a loving supportive environment.
Some boys have difficulty from their environment, and if placed in a loving structured place tend to fare well.
But sons of career criminal fathers - who show signs of violence/antisocial behavior themselves - very seldom rehabilitate.
I really hope I've given you hope with this post - that his dad isn't a career felon, that he's grown up in nutsy chaos and often that kind of boy responds well to caring parents.
Best wishes.
To be honest the whole family is crazy. But i don't have a clue behavioral wise.
What's his biological father like, do you know?
