emotional 10yr old girl

my daughter has recently became very emotional , everything is going espically well for her as far as school,friends etc. Could this be hormonal??  I was 12yrs old when I had my first menstrual cycle please tell me it's not time for her yet!!!!

What has happened recently in her life, new sibling, change of house and school, family moved, check out any happening prior to her being emotional, have you asked her if there is a problem, how is school going, has she friends ,what are they like does she spend time with them after school/weekends. it would be good if you could enlarge about her life .
