What do you do when your four year old hits you and screams at you when she does not get her wayl

She is a bright good child. It is when she does not take naps, she is very tired and that is when she will start her bad behavior. Fire minutes later she is sorry. She told me yesterday after she put a pair of shoes in the front of my bedroom so I could fall. Can a 4 yr old be that mean? She tells me that she has a coach roach in her belly and it is the **** roach that makes her be bad. This behavior all started of a banana. My banana was bigger then hers. The last two days she has pulled this bad behavior towards me, the grandmother who raises her as if she was mine. If she goes to some kind of counseling, will it help. It seems like she has so much anger in her. Her mother is BIPOLAR. Could this be signs of early age that she could be bipolar?

To me these are not bipolar signs.  They are the signs of a bright child who didn't get enough sleep.  There have been a lot of studies done that show what sleep deprivation can do to kids.  One of the strong correlations is to ADHD like behaviors.  Point being is that lack of sleep can cause these problems.
And I would guess that her situation also causes problems.  You might want to look into a series of books that are called the best behavior series an example is  "hands are not for hitting" found here - http://www.amazon.com/Hands-Hitting-Ages-Best-Behavior/dp/1575420775
or the learning to get along series an example is "talk and work it out". found here.

These books are aimed at the 4 to 7 year old child and are meant to be read to them.  That alone is worth it.  Hope this helps.

It most definetely could be. She doesnt mean to act this way, and i am sure you are doing all you can. I would most definetely have her see an pschyciatrist immediately so maybe yall can get this under some sort of control. I will pray for her and you as well. Keep us posted and good luck!
