my 4 year old behavior is out of control.

I feel like my four year old boy doesn't understand me, and i've tried everything to try to make him understand.
But i have not acomplish anything.  he likes to hit people, i don't understand why he's angry and aggresive all the time.  I've put in time out, taken away he's toys, talk to him by explaning that it's wrong to hit anybody.   Then I thought that Preschool would be different.  But he's teacher and Teachers assistant tell me that he's too agressive and they can't control him.  he's fine with other children, but he doesn't like people telling him what to do,  Teachers try to explain to him that he needs to sit down or share toys wait for he's turn.  But it's like he doesn't hear,  desides not to hear or doesn't understand.  I've taken him to he's regular doctor but he says that it's a phase.  But at he's preschool they are telling me that something could be wrong with him.  Now i'm really concern and don't know what to do anymore.  what could be wrong with him please help..

Don't let the school pressure you. Listen to your doctor. Make sure your son gets enough sleep and does not have sugary snacks or drinks - that includes bottled fruit juice. Sugar or lack of sleep can really jazz a child up.

Be patient with him and cut back on the punishments. They don't work anyway. But you have to physically restrain him from hitting anyone. For quite a different reason I used to put my fourth child in one of the mesh-sided  playpens - the kind they can't get out of. When he becomes aggressive, don't bother telling him he is wrong - he knows it. Dump him into one of those playpens. He will hate it and probably yell up a storm. Ignore him.

By the way, the reason I used the palypen for my daughter was because she would get up at night and roam the house when everyone was asleep. Most scarey.
