ADHD Child getting out of hand

My daughter is 7 years old. And was diagnosed about 3 months with ADHD. She is on Ritalin at the moment but I have always had a problem with her impulsive behaviour. I am a strict parent and have many rules and boundries. My daughter knows what the rules are but will still do things without thinking, when you ask her what the rule are and what will happen is she brakes that rule. She can tell you exactly. She is also aware she has done wrong after the fact. I have tried every thing to try and get her to understand that things cannot carry on this way. I also have a major problem with her being impatient. Advice please?

How about you relax somewhat regarding the rules you have, you may find her behavior will improve, children do like to have limits but there are times when relaxing them and Focusing on the child"s positive side is better. You dont say specifics about what the rules are she breaks, Does she get plenty of positive attention aswell and Physical activitieschildren do respond to playing Games and outside sports.
