Contact Child services they can over rule the judge.
sparkles - is there anything else that would help explain the judge's decision? How old is the boy?
Did I metion it was not the father who wanted the children to spend the night at his house it was the judge. I don,t know but in phila the legal system is a l;ittle twisted. I gave the judge the papers from thier Dr.s and she had the nerve to tell me that since it was a while ago maybe they are able enough to stay at thier fathers house with the perp there, over night since he can not make his sunday visits, I said no. Yea I am getting a lawyer on Monday but in the mean time what in the world was that judge thinking. Thier father said that he can,t make his everyother Sun visit because he has to work and go to school everyday and you offer to allow my children to stay weekends at his house, WHO IS GOING TO WATCH THE KIDS! I don't know but do that sound wierd to you all. This is what you go through living in Phila.
The above post is a good and better idea get a Lawyer .
As your 10year old is scared to go ,dont send her and if you have a problem with the court ask for your daughter to speak to an officer of the court and a judge I believe they take the childrens welfare into account ,if she was my daughter no way would I let her go there when she is afraid, you are right you have to protect her whatever the outcome.
Sparkles, you need a lawyer.
They won't break your bank - this is not a multi million dollar case.
You need to find a good attorney who specializes in divorce/family law, and make your first visit (which is almost always free) well worth your time. Compile all the papers you have- the original judge's order that the girls not have unsupervised visits, your divorce decree, any statements you can get from the girl's therapists that being unsupervised with this boy would be harmful, etc.
And you need to sit and write your story more clearly than this. Start with something like, "I was married for ____ years, and divorced when my children were ____. My exhusband then remarried and has a stepson ____ years old. And go from there.
Best wishes. You can do this, but you definitely need a lawyer.
