My Son Has been at school now for nearly a year and we have not had any problems with him at home or at school in all that time. However, the past 2 weeks he has been disruptive in class, pushing and nipping and generally being silly.
This is occuring daily. At home he is just a normal loving little boy, loves his baby brother who is 7months old, enjoys his swimmimg lessons and is a member of the local football team on a Saturday. His Daddy and I separated when he was two and our prime concern has always been that he would not be made to feel different. I have a partner who looks on him as his own and they get on very well. He goes to his Daddy Wednesday evenings after school and stays over so his daddy takes him to school the next day. Also this happens on a Monday then weekends are alternated, one weekend Friday to Saturday the next Saturday to Sunday, he has regular contact with his grandparents, one on a daily basis and the other members of the family include him in things too (cousinsetc).

We have tried talking to him and asking why he is doing it but all he says is he doesnt know! We are at a loss as to what to do. Tried taking away his privellages, rewarding if he is goo, though that hasnt happened yet!! Olease can you help?

You dont say how old he is,Has any thing differant happened in the last 2 weeks when it started ,can you think back to anything, are there new friends at school he is emulating, a new Teacher or anything you can pin point, as it happens at school I would concentrate on there for a reason,if he says he doesnt know its possible he is protecting someone.Ask pertinant questions not just general ones, ask how is school ? have you new friends, what did you do at Daddys house , If it continues or gets worse ask a councillor to talk to him.
