tiptoe

my son is 21 mths he walks on his toes .at what age should he come away from this ?a doctor told me put stones in his pockets......

He Libby26 that's great news. I hope you feel better knowing from the doctor that walking on his tip toes is normal.  I'm hoping with you by 18 months he will be running with both heels and toes.  Takes lots of pictures so he will believe you when you tell him he walked on his toes.

i took him to the gp .he said he was fine.he said tat kids like walking on their toes .i tout tat it stops bout 18mths???????

Children that walk on there toes generally have an achilies tendon problem.  It hurts to walk with their heal on the floor.  Call  your doctor and ask what you can do if anything until his muscles grow and develope strength to support his heal.
