Feeling out of it

I have taken Levothyroxine for a few years now, and it doesn't seem to be helping. These last few months I have been more groggy, spacey, forgetful than ever. I have chronic fatigue as well. But I just had blood tests done, and she said besides my thyroid being low again, "everything is fine." Well why do I feel worse now then I ever have? I have never slept good or even slightly well. I go to bed the same time nightly, get up the same time every morning. The thing is I wake up so many times during the night it is ridiculous. What else could it be that the lab tests aren't showing?

Thank you so much. My Dr. said she wouldn't wish chronic fatigue on anyone, but that is all she said about it and my thyroid. I will ask to be referred to a endocrinologist.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Hypothyroidism is one of the commonest causes of fatigue and tiredness. On top of that you are having chronic fatigue syndrome also. You need to consult an endocrinologist and get thyroid medicines prescribed as antithyroid medicines may help in preventing worsening of symptoms. You need to get the dose of your levothyroxine increased.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Do you have any electronic devices in your room?  If so, turn them all off and if possible, ensure they are at least 1.8m (5-6ft) away from you.
In conjunction with no TV, computers or electronics within half an hour of going to sleep, I found this one tip very useful in overcoming my sleeping issues. (I also had Chronic Fatigue).
