HELP! having breathing and lung problems, one dr says copd and one says no based on pft

5'5 115 LBS 48 yr old male  had asthma as a child and had allergy shots as well and out grew both when I hit puberty smoked 1pack day 32 yrs also some pot during that time. quit smoking oct 1 2009. have always had a couple of bouts each yr with bronchitis. since I stopped smoking I have no cough to bring up mucus, and more flare ups of bronchitis with extreme shortness of breath among other things. been to two drs and one says moderate to severe. Another Dr says no copd  Please help me understand how these doctors came up with these dx's based on this lung function test numbers. I am showing the pre drug numbers   PLEASE HELP ME I AM SO CONFUSED!

hi could some one tell me what these readings may mean of pft tests i have had /fev1=2.5 76% fvc 2.9 74% ratio is 86% tlc 4.3 72% rv 1.4 75% frc 2.2 70% tlco 4.87 52% kco 1.3 84% do these readings sound like copd or emphysema

Did they suggest you had chronic bronchitis? It doesn't look like COPD.
