The chest pain is more confined to the left side of my chest, not really in front. I guess I would say in my armpit or right beneath it. Feels kind of bruised when I press on it and it sore in genera.
Green is never a good color for phlegm (sputum) as it usually indicates an infection. I would see a doctor regarding this as they may need to obtain a sample to confirm a diagnosis. I see you mentioned no difficulty in breathing, however a cough and mild chest pain could also be due to illness. What is the chest pain like? Although you are young, many people are starting to have heart disease and heart attacks at younger ages, including in their 20s. I'm not sure if there is a risk for you, but this should definitely be addressed by a doctor to rule out any cardiac issues. Left arm numbness/pain could also be an indication of insufficient blood flow related to cardiovascular disease.
I am not saying this all to frighten you but it is well worth a visit to the doctor just to have peace of mind. Perhaps you are in top physical health and it's something else, but either way I am very glad to hear about quitting smoking as this will improve your health in numerous ways!
No difficulty breathing at all. I'd say I cough up more junk in the morning. My guess is that it's overnight drainage since it's a greenish color.
are you feeling any difficulty in breathing and whats the nature of cough ..what are the relieveing factors of cough ..does it get worse in morning or at night ?
