pain on right side of chest

Hi,i have had 5 pneumothorax,then i had an operation to repair the lung,it was then they found i had the start of empysema,however i am now getting pain every time i turn or twist my body.I have stopped smoking since i had the operation which was in 2007 and the surgeon said i will have a normal life if i continue not to smoke.Could be scar tissue or is it going to collapse again?
any advice i would be truly grateful

hopefully you do not have cysts on your lungs.  Have you had a CT done to see if you have cysts?  Unexplained lung collapses can be due to the rare lung disease called LAM.  google the LAM foundation

my guess is that some of the nerves were displaced when you had the surgery
