Please could someone explain my Fibroscan report?
Please could someone explain my Fibroscan report to me in simple terms as I have no medical knowledge. Median Stiffness 8.6 Kpa. IQR 0.9 Kpa. IQR/med 10%. Valid measures 10. Sucess Rate 83%. Thanks for the help in advance....
Do a search for "fibroscan score card" and look to see where 8.6 falls on the scale. It will depend on the cause of your liver problems what your result mean.
Did you doctor not discuss your result with you? Will you be seeing your doctor for a follow up visit?
Do you know the cause of you liver problems? For example do you have hep B or hep C? Do you have fatty liver disease? Have you been a long time drinker?
Each one of those conditions have a slightly different place on the scale for your score of Median Stiffness 8.6 Kpa
