I asked a liver professor and he said no but in internet i saw links which say there is a connection.

This is interesting, Here is my experience:
The first sign something was "off" with my health was that suddenly in Jan. 2014 I started getting hives constantly- I went to an allergist who discovered abnormal blood results, and he sent me to a hematologist who found very low platelets- from there a liver panel was ordered, and I was diagnosed eventually with Hep C. I treated with Sovaldi/Olysio in early 2104 and have been SVR for over 2 years- the hive problem ceased when I ended treatment.

it is around 4 years that my platelet count is changing between 150-205 (normal range: 150-300). in my last test one month ago, my platelet count was 172.
I answered your private message about my platelet count, but for the record : my platelet count was 90 in Jan 2014 when I was diagnosed with Hep C and cirrhosis, and now after SVR it is lower; 59 two months ago, and my spleen is still enlarged. I'm monitored every 6 months with MRI and have bloodwork every 3 months. I follow a healthy lifestyle, eat organic, excercise, and hope for improvement. Hope that helps.
So me_just34 why are you concerned your platelet count is normal? Everyone's vary from one test to another. In other words it is normal for results to vary from day to day. The important thing is yours are normal. Mine have been as low as 80 but since I am now cured of hep c they are around 102 when last checked this week.
i do not worry about my platelet count. it is indeed normal. i only thought maybe the cause of urticaria is liver.
As you can see in my earlier post hives and liver dieease seem to be unrelated but of course the best person to ask about medical concerns is always your doctor after all they did go to collage for many years to become experts vs yours or my google search. Trust your doctors answers.

Hives Triggers

Some food (especially peanuts, eggs, nuts and shellfish)
Medications, such as antibiotics (especially penicillin and sulfa), aspirin and ibuprofen
    Insect stings or bites
Physical stimuli, such as pressure, cold, heat, exercise or sun exposure
    Latex
    Blood transfusions
Bacterial infections, including urinary tract infections and strep throat
Viral infections, including the common cold, infectious mononucleosis and hepatitis
    Pet dander
    Pollen
Some plants, such as poison oak and poison ivy

No mention of liver being a concern you will notice
