Cough and cold only during nightime in winters. Is this a known medical condition?

Details are as follows
Age : 26
Sex : Female
Height : 5'4"
Weight : 54
Location : Delhi, India
My friend has this weird condition where she gets cough and cold only in the nightime in winters but she stays fine during summers. Whenever temperature drops, her condition gets worse. She has visited atleast a dozen general physicians. Some of them have told her that she is allergic to cold weather. She has tried all sorts of cold and cough medications as prescribed by the doctors but nothing ever helped. So, i'm just curious if this "allergy from cold weather" is real or not?

Allergy to cold is not real. Allergy to things that you might have to use to ward off the cold is. Like blankets or duvets. There may also be some allergic asthma at play here.
