Bypass Failure, Stint placed still having symptoms

My grandmother had a stress test done two months ago; she failed the stress test and was referred for angiogram the same day. She had multiple blockages at 90%, and was admitted to the hospital. She stayed in the hospital for 4 days, due to the doctors where afraid to release her home. She had a double bypass (left descending coronary artery and left circumflex coronary artery). She healed well, but 2 weeks ago while at home she experienced chest pain. She went by ambulance to the hospital. An angiogram was performed and her left circumflex bypass failed. The docotors put a stent in her actual left circumflex coronary artery. She stayed in the hospital for a few days and was released. Now, she is back in the hospital due to chest pain again. The doctors say there is nothing they can do for her and that everything looks good and she will have to live with the pain. The doctors just did an ECG and say all is good. Is this possible? She is on constant Nitroglycerin and Morphine prn.  Should she get a second opinion? What other procedures could she have done to take away this pain?  She says the pain is getting more frequent and stronger. Thank you for your responses.

Suppose that with the bypass surgery and the placement of the stent her coronary arteries are open again. Then there can still be blockages in the smaller vessels and capillaries further down the road, that impair the supply of oxygen rich blood to the heartmuscle.
If this is the case, your grandmother will experience chest pain.
These vessels are however too small to place a stent in. The doctor can only prescribe nitroglycerin to dilate these vessels.

There are pain management specialists, I think first off she needs to be referred to one.
